The full moon on February 10, 2017 is known as Snow Moon, Ice Moon or Wild Moon. There will also be a penumbral lunar eclipse, which means that the Sun, the Earth, and the Moon will align in an almost straight line. At this time, the Earth will block some of the Sun’s light from reaching the Moon’s surface, and thus cover part of the Moon with the outer part of its shadow, called the penumbra.
Nonetheless, the energy from this full moon will still be powerful, especially as more people than usual will be watching it!
