The first full moon of 2019 occurs on January 21 along with a full lunar eclipse during a Supermoon, (when the moon is closest to Earth). Expect lots of extra energy during this period! Known as Wolf Moon, Quiet Moon or Chaste Moon, this full moon will happen at 12:16 AM EST, so you can perform your spells and rituals on this same day.
For those in North & South America, the lunar eclipse will be visible between the evening of Sunday, January 20 and the early hours of Monday, January 21. This full moon is in the sun sign Aquarius (Jan. 21 ~ Feb. 19), so it is a full fire moon in the opposite sign of Leo.
